Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball excellent in durability.SOLUTION: The golf ball has a globular core, and a cover 12 of at least one layer covering the globular core. The globular core includes (a) base material rubber, (b) α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid having a carbon number of 3-8 and/or its metallic salt as a co-cross-linking agent, (c) a crosslink initiator, and (d) petroleum resin, and is formed further from (e) a rubber composition containing a metallic compound in the case of including only (b) α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid having a carbon number of 3-8 as a co-cross-linking agent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
