Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a golf ball having improved fly properties by specifying the diameter of the golf ball, which is made up of a core part having a specific diameter and a cover part having a specific thickness, to a specific value. CONSTITUTION: The golf ball made up of a core part having a diameter of 37.85 mm to 38.35 mm and a cover part having a thickness of 2.29 mm to 2.54 mm has diameter of 42.80 mm to 43.05 mm. The golf ball is made up of a core part having a diameter of 38.10 mm and a cover part having a thickness of 2.41 mm, and it has the weight not over 45.93 g. Furthermore, a plurality of dimples formed on the exterior surface of golf ball shares at least 70% of its exterior surface, so that golf ball is made from two pieces of a core ball and a cover part. By this construction, the golf ball has low spin speed and straight shot, and the fly properties of the golf ball is also improved.
