Title:
GOLF CLUB IRON SET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3113222
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a ball comparatively straight toward a target place even if any club is used by setting the crossing angle of a specified plane and a plane containing an elastic main axis and a geometric main axis to a specified value in a low count number iron club.
SOLUTION: In a golf club iron set including plural iron clubs different in the count number, a part of a pipe-like structure 10 as a club shaft in at least one iron club is formed by a material having anisotropy, which is made by combination of fiber reinforced resin, fiber reinforced rubber and rubber having orientation. When the club is placed in a designated state on the horizontal plane, the crossing angle of the plane containing the elastic main axis E and the geometric main axis G when the shaft is fixed 200 mm from the grip side end part to a specified plane containing the geometric main axis G of the shaft, which is parallel to the line of intersection between the face surface of the iron head and the horizontal plane, is set to 45-90°.
