Abstract:
To reduce air resistance of a golf club at the time of swinging, increase a carry of a ball, and keep a sufficient shaft strength.
A groove part 10 having an arc-shaped cross section is spirally formed to be dented in an outer circumference of a shaft, a round without an edge is formed at a contact point of an outer circumference of the groove part with an outer circumferential surface of the shaft, a spiral pitch of the groove part is set as 10 mm-100 mm, and a width of the groove part is set within a range of 0.1 mm-1 mm, while a depth is set within a range of 0.1 mm-1 mm.
