PURPOSE: To provide a golf course construction which can be installed in any place with a good workability and where one can have as good feeling of playing as in an ordinary golf course.

CONSTITUTION: Subject golf course construction comprises: a foundation 1 made of a synthetic resin foam material; a granulated material (sand) 2 laid on the foundation 1; and a lawn 3 laid on the granulated material (sand) 2. In the foundation 1 a drainage system communicating from the upper surface to the other surface is provided. Also, the upper surface of the foundation is formed to be concave as a housing portion of the granulated material 2, which is filled in a bag and disposed in the housing portion. In this case, a drainage system communicating from the housing portion to the outside is provided in the foundation 1.
