Title:
GOLF GAME ARRANGEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03295573
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow the player to enjoy practicing the golf by detecting a stroke from a golf club, and converting it into a display having a meaningful amusement value. CONSTITUTION: When the player strikes a ball, its carry is calculated from the moving speed of the ball member 12 and converted into movement along one of tracks, and the degree of a hook or slice deviating from a centerline is also calculated, so that the necessary track is illuminated up to the required distance. A central processing unit 46 is adjusted so that, in all cases, one of the target distances is illuminated at random before the ball member 12 has been struck. If the player hits a target, he/she can receive a reward in a certain compensatory form. In one case, for example, it is an additional shot added to the indicated number of shots, while in other cases it is a prize given to the player from a slot 62 or substitute coins for gaining the prize. The player can thus enjoy practicing the golf.
