A document managing device 101 comprises a document database 207 for storing the storage information for relating the information indicating a storage place for storing goods, the information on the goods, and a storage period of the goods in the storage place, a receiving control part 213 for receiving the request for retrieving the storage information, a control part 201 for extracting the storage information to respond to the request for retrieval received by the receiving control part 213 from the document database 207, and a transmission control part 215 for transmitting the extracted storage information. In a case when the storage period in the storage place of the goods is expired, the information for warning the change of the storage place, is transmitted with the extracted storage information.
