Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article management repository that facilitates management of inventories and histories of carry-in/carry-out, in a task that handles a wide variety of articles carried in/out in large volumes and high frequency.SOLUTION: An article management repository includes: an exterior wall 10; a door 11; a door sensor 221 that outputs OFF when the door 11 is open and ON when the door 11 is closed; a door lock 222 for locking/unlocking the door 11; a wireless tag reader/writer (a reader/writer 200) having an antenna 202 provided on the exterior wall 10 and in the door 11, for reading out a wireless tag 100 housed inside and outputting information that has been read out; and a management computer having a control section 301 that locks the door lock 222 when having judged that an output from the door sensor 221 has changed from OFF to ON, instructs the wireless reader/writer to read out the wireless tag 100, and permits updating of inventory data when the information that has been read out coincides with inventory schedule data that has been input beforehand.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
