Abstract:
To provide a GPS receiving device capable of shortening the time required for detection of one's own vehicle position.
The GPS receiving device receives GPS signals transmitted from a plurality of satellites and calculates a position based on the positioning information on this GPS signal. The GPS receiving device comprises a receiving means for receiving the information transmitted from a predetermined mobile object, and a positioning means for performing initial search using the position determined based on the information as a reference position and specifying the current position.
