Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a graft copolymer useful for providing a paint which can give a coating having excellent initial gloss, weatherability, and chemical resistance and has an excellent capability for pigment dispersion and pot life.
CONSTITUTION: A monomer mixture comprising an ethylenically unsatd. monomer (b) represented by the formula (R1, R2 and R3 represent each hydrogen or a lower alkyl group and m is an integer of 1 to 10) and an ethylenically unsatd. monomer (C) having a carboxyl group is polymerized in the presence of a fluororesin (A) having a reactive double bond through a urethane bond.
