Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graft copolymer which is suitable as a blend component for molding materials and as a hot melt type adhesive.
SOLUTION: This graft copolymer contains (a) a polyamine which has at least 11 nitrogen atoms and a number-average mol.wt. of at least 500 g/mole in an amount of 0.5 to 25 wt.% based on the graft copolymer, and (b) the equimolar combination of a diamine with a dicarboxylic acid as monomers for forming a polyamide.
