Abstract:
To obtain the subject new compound having an excellent processability, physical and mechanical properties, and useful as a semi- electroconductive resin composition by introducing a grafted chain having a specific structure into carbon black.
This composition is composed of carbon black bonded with a grafted chain having a polyalkylene oxide chain, preferably a (meth)acrylate or an alkyl(meth)acrylate having a polyalkylene oxide chain. Preferably, the chain is composed of polyethylene oxide, polypropylene oxide or its copolymer, e.g. the polymer chain is bonded with carbon black by a coupling reaction of a polymer radical with a radical on the surface of the carbon black.
