Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer as an oleophobic low-adhesive anti-wetting coating (material) for use on a front face of a printhead and surfaces that require low adhesive anti-wetting.SOLUTION: A process for making an oleophobic grafted polymer includes crosslinking a fluoroelastomer with an aminofunctionalized silane, and grafting an alkoxysilane-terminated perfluorinated polyether to the crosslinked fluoroelastomer.
