Abstract:
To eliminate influence caused by grain diffusion when a sensor of detecting an amount of charged grain attached to a grain storage tank is performing a detecting action.SOLUTION: There is provided a grain dryer comprising: a storage chamber 2 that stores grain, an upper screw conveyor 15 attached to the ceiling of the storage chamber 2 to horizontally convey grain; and a diffusion blade 56 that receives grain conveyed by the upper screw conveyor 15 to diffuse and drop the grain. The grain dryer is structured to further comprise an opening-closing shutter 57 attached to the bottom of the screw conveyor 15, and a charged amount sensor 55 that detects an amount of grain charged into the storage chamber 2, so that the opening-closing shutter 57 is rotated to an opening attitude concurrently when the charged amount detection sensor 55 detects a charged amount. The charged amount sensors 55A, 55B that detect an amount of grain charged into the storage chamber 2 are disposed underneath the diffusion blade 56.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
