Abstract:
To provide a heater for proper heating separately from a combustion burner, in a grain dryer.SOLUTION: A grain dryer is provided with a storage chamber (1) that stores grains, a drying chamber (2) that dries with the heat of a combustion burner (17), and a non-combustion heating member (31) that heats grains to be conveyed; and comprises the steps of performing a pause drying transition in which an exhaust fan (5) and a circulation mechanism (J) are driven for a set time after the combustion burner (17) is stopped, and performing pause drying to stop the exhaust fan (5) and the circulation mechanism (J) after the step of the pause drying transition, wherein the heating member (31) is turned on during the step of the pause drying transition, and the heating member (31) is turned off during the step of the pause drying.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
