To provide a grain drying apparatus capable of preventing accumulation of dust on a surface of a far infrared ray radiator during charging of grain.
An grain storage tank, a forced-air drying part 3, and a grain takeout tank 4 are respectively provided in an upper section, a middle section, and a lower section of a dryer body 1. The far infrared ray radiator 14 for grain flowing down from the forced-air drying part 3 is provided in the grain takeout tank 4. The grain stored in the grain storage tank is dried by forced-air drying and irradiation of far infrared rays while circulating it in a path through the forced-air drying part 3, the grain takeout tank 4 and the grain storage tank. An exhaust side of the far infrared ray radiator 14 and the grain takeout tank 4 provided with the far infrared ray radiator 14 are communicated in a suction air duct sucking and distributing outside air into the forced-air drying part 3. A change-over damper 22 is provided for directly communicating a communication part of the exhaust side of the far infrared ray radiator 14 and the grain takeout tank 4 provided with the far infrared ray radiator 14, with a suction blower side 13 during charging and discharging of grain.
