Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a grain oriented silicon steel sheet having a film increased in a tension-giving effect and excellent in rust preventing property.
CONSTITUTION: The tension film, having crystalline aluminum borate as a principal compound, contains alkali metal compound, silicon compound, and iron borate. This film can be obtained by applying a raw material solution, consisting of alkali-metal-elementcontaining compound, aluminum oxide precursor compound, silicon oxide precursor compound, and boric acid, to a finish-annealed grain oriented silicon steel sheet and then performing baking finish.
