PURPOSE: To develop an enameled product having the color tone and pattern like natural granite by forming an underglaze enamel layer on a base metal and forming an ornamental layer of granitic pattern thereon with a specified material.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of a steel sheet 1 is cleaned, then an underglaze enamel layer 2 is formed, and an ornamental layer 3 of granitic pattern is provided thereon. The ornamental layer 3 is formed with a dotted emulsoid white layer 4 consisting of a mixture of the weakly emulsoid white frit and mat white frit, a dotted titanium emulsoid colored layer of one to plural colors as a mixture of the weakly emulsoid white frit and titanium emulsoid white frit or the mixture further mixed with a pigment of the yellow, dark brown or ultramarine similar to the color of the grain constituting granite and the dotted transparent colored layers 6 and 7 of one to several colors consisting of a transparent frit mixed with a pigment of the gray, grayish brown and black similar to the color of the grain constituting granite, and baking is finally applied. An enameled product having the color tone and appearance of blue granite, red granite, black granite, white granite, etc., is produced in this way.
