To obtain the subject composition suitably used for a tablet, etc., requiring a rapid absorption property by attaching a hydrophilic surfactant on the surface of aggregates containing a physiologically active substance, a water soluble high molecular compound and a high molecular water-swelling compound.
This granular composition is obtained by attaching a hydrophilic surfactant (e.g.; sucrose fatty acid ester) on the surface of an aggregate containing a physiologically active component (e.g.; an active ingredient of an antipyretic and an analgesic agent or a cold remedy, vitamins, an antacid, an anti-inflammatory, other active components, a crude drug and a Chinese medicine, minerals, amino acids, peptides and proteins, etc.), a water soluble high molecular compound (e.g.; a polyvinylpyrrolidone, hydroxypropylcellulose, etc.), and/or a high molecular compound swelling with water (e.g.; corn starch, a crystalline cellulose, partially pre-gelatinized starch, carmellose, etc.). The blending amounts of the above physiologically active component, high molecular compounds and hydrophilic surfactant are preferably 15-85 wt.%, 1-30 wt.% and 0.5-20 wt.% respectively.
