Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a granulated polysaccharide capable of effectively delaying the rate of developing the viscosity of psyllium right after its hydration without impairing the effective physiological effect inherent therein.
SOLUTION: The subject granulated polysaccharide for reducing the viscosity of psyllium is obtained by granulating a polysaccharide. The 2nd objective psyllium composition comprises psyllium and the above granulated polysaccharide. The 3rd objective powdery drink comprises the above composition.
