Abstract:
To provide a granulated powder of a PTFE containing a filler for molding, which has a high apparent density, an excellent electrostatic property, and a good fluidity and gives moldings which keep the tensile strength and elongation and exhibits of no-discoloration caused by a surfactant.
The granulated powder of a PTFE containing a filer for a molding use has an apparent density of 0.65 g/ml or more and is obtained by wetting 100 pts.wt. of a mixture of a PTFE powder and a filler, with 30-60 pts.wt. of the anionic surfactant-containing aqueous solution of a concentration of more than 10 times to less than 40 times the critical micelle concentration and then by granulating while acting a mechanical power thereon.
