To provide a production method and a production device for waste tire granular material, wherein a waste tire is smashed and which allow production of the waste tire granular material having a prescribed grain diameter or below by the compact device, and to provide a recycling method and a recycling device for recycling rubber that is a main material of the waste tire into the waste tire granular material having the prescribed grain diameter or below from the waste tire by practical use of the production method and the production device for the waste tire granular material.

The waste tire put into a bottomed rotary cylindrical body having a large number of prescribed-diameter through holes in a peripheral wall is smashed by a large number of rotary blades inside the cylindrical body, waste tire smashed material is discharged outward from the large number of prescribed-diameter through holes of the cylindrical body peripheral wall by centrifugal force accompanying rotation of the cylindrical body, and the waste tire granular material having the prescribed diameter or below is collected.
