Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granule treatment method capable of suppressing the moisture absorption of a granule in a first storage tank and suppressing an initial moisture percentage of the granule before drying.SOLUTION: A granule treatment device 1 comprises a first storage tank 10, a second storage tank 20, and a conveyance pipe 30 for connecting both tanks. The granule treatment device 1 also comprises a first gas introduction part 60 for introducing an inert gas into the first storage tank 10 directly or through the conveyance pipe 30. When treating granules, a gas inside the first storage tank is replaced with the inert gas. Then, the granules are inserted into the first storage tank 10. Thereby, it is possible to suppress the moisture absorption of a granule 9 in the first storage tank 10 and suppress an initial moisture percentage of the granule 9 before drying. As a result, it is possible to lower the moisture percentage of the granule 9 to a target moisture percentage in the second storage tank 20.
