Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate specifying of data desired by an operator by displaying the allowable value of number of data pieces in the shape of a graphic pattern.
CONSTITUTION: FDD 50 keeps/stores a document text including table data to be the object of making a graph. After CPU 10 reads the table making data from FDD 50 and displays it at a display position 70, the operator instructs CPU 10 to execute a limit specifying program 2 from a key board input device 40. After specifying the limit, CPU 10 executes a graph selection program 3 and receives the indication of a graph shape inputted from the operator through the key board input device and information such as the size of graph title printing. After finishing the specifying of the limit and the selection of the graph, CPU 10 judges classification concerning printing prediction with regard to table data by a limit judgement program 4. Information data in the established limit is stored in a storage area within a work memory.
