PURPOSE: To emphatically display picture information without burdening CPU in a graphic display device.

CONSTITUTION: An input data SA which is read from an input device 3 by a CPU 1 is analyzed in accordance with an input data analyzing program SB which is stored in a memory 2, a picture information SC and an attribute information SE are made and stored in a frame buffer 4. The picture information SC and the attribute information SE are sent to an attribute controller 10 in accordance with a display control command SD which is read from a display controller 5 by the frame buffer 4. The attribute controller 10 adds the display attribute complying with the attribute information SE to the picture information SC, makes an attribute added picture information SF and display it on a display device 6.
