PURPOSE: To easily draw an optional curve by producing the graphic data by processing the information on the position of a rod that can be optionally deformed, displaying the changing shape of the rod, and fetching the graphic data as the input data when a desired shape of the rod is obtained.
CONSTITUTION: A rod 2 that can be optionally deformed is put on an input board 1, and the board 1 outputs the data in response to the shape of the rod 2. The board 1 is provided with cells of a pressure sensor arranged on the two-dimensonal face of the board 1, and the output is taken out of the cell where the rod 2 is set. An input program 3 fetched the data from the board 1 and displays them on a screen 4 of a display device. When the rod 2 is deformed with movement of the edge part of the rod 2 put on the board 1, the end part of the corresponding curve displayed on the screen 4 is deformed and displayed against the rod 2. Then the graphic data on a desired graphic is fetched as the input data. Thus, the graphic is easily deformed and inputted with high efficiency.
