Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graphite crucible capable of efficiently melting-holding the raw material of a casting in casting, and a melting-holding furnace using the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a graphite crucible comprising: a crucible furnace melting the raw material of a casting at the inside surrounded by a circumferential wall and flowing out the molten metal obtained by melting the raw material of the casting from a bottom hole to the outside; and bar-shaped heaters plurally arranged at the outer circumferential wall of the crucible furnace. The crucible furnace has a thickness to make a non-through vertical hole for inserting the circumferential wall through the bar-shaped heater. The bar-shaped heaters heat the material of the casting in the crucible furnace, and further heats the molten metal other than the crucible furnace.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
