Abstract:
To provide an engine drive type-grass mower capable of travelling while mowing grass along a contour line on a slope surface with a high degree of precision.SOLUTION: A grass mower includes: an engine; an inclination angle calculation unit 71 for calculating an inclination angle of a machine body with respect to a contour line of a slope surface; a travelling device having a left travelling unit and a right travelling unit; a travelling state determination unit 73 for determining whether the grass mower is in a straight travelling state in which it is travelling on the slope surface, in an unstable straight travelling state in which it is deflected from the straight travelling state, or in a state of turning operation; a transmission having a left transmission for transmitting shift power to the left travelling unit and a right transmission for transmitting shift power to the right travelling unit; and a speed change control unit 60 for adjusting a speed change radio of the transmission. The speed change control unit 60 includes a straight travelling holding function for adjusting the speed change ratio of the left transmission and the speed change ratio of the right transmission on the basis of the inclination angle for shifting from the unstable straight travelling state to the straight travelling state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
