Abstract:
To provide a gravure coating device which can prevent deterioration in coating quality without generating coating unevenness on a surface of a thin traveling base material of a continuum shape, when a coating agent is solid-coated onto the base material with even thickness.SOLUTION: A gravure coating device includes a bubble scattering suppression member 30 which combines a coating agent 10 supplied into a coating agent storage container 2 and bubbles 70 of the coating agent generated when the coating agent is supplied, guides and introduces the coating agent 10 and the bubbles 70 to a rear stream side by a gravure roll of a flow derived from the roll of the coating agent generated by rotation of a gravure roll 6 immersed in the coating agent in the coating agent storage container, and prevents the bubbles from being scattered in the coating agent storage container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
