Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve abrasion resistance of a gravure roll and secure good coating performance when a coating liquid contains solid particulates which facilitate abrasion.SOLUTION: A gravure coating device 1 applies a coating liquid containing solid particles to a substrate W. A doctor blade 50 for scraping a surface of a coating region 21 of a gravure roll 20 has: an attaching part 51 detachably fixed to a blade supporting part; and a protruding part 52 which protrudes from the blade supporting part toward the gravure roll 20 and contacts with the coating region 21. The protruding part 52 has: a blade edge part 52a which forms a tip portion and has hardness lower than that of the solid particles; and a blade base part 52b which forms a portion from the blade edge part 52a to the attachment part 51 and has rigidity higher than that of the blade edge part 52a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
