To provide a gravure offset printing machine which can improve printing quality by delivering a specified amount of ink to a blanket cylinder and inhibiting the non-conforming transfer of the ink from the blanket cylinder to a matter to be printed.
This gravure offset printing machine operates as follows: ink packed inside a recessed part 1a of a gravure plate cylinder 1 is delivered to the circumferential surface of the blanket cylinder 4 at a point A as a delivery position and then transferred to the matter to be printed 6 at a point B as a transfer position. In addition, the machine is equipped with first ink anti-drying covers 7A and 7B which cover the circumferential surface of the gravure plate cylinder 1 and a second ink anti-drying cover 8 which covers the first ink anti-drying covers 7A and 7B and the entirety of the gravure plate cylinder 1. The contrivance of the machine is that air 12 is blasted to the circumferential surface of the blanket cylinder 4 from an air nozzle 10 so as to keep the ink delivered to the blanket cylinder 4 semidry at point B.
