To provide gravure printing equipment which can reduce the amount of paste to be used in gravure printing, which can improve accuracy, and which can suppress the occurrence of an undesired phenomenon such as a fall of the paste from a gravure roll.
This gravure printing equipment 1 for printing the paste on a base material for the manufacture of an electronic component comprises the gravure roll 2, a doctor blade 3, and a pair of side seal plates 4 and 5 which are fixed on the upstream side of the doctor blade 3. The plates 4 and 5 are arranged on the axial outside of the gravure roll 2 in an area where a printing part A is provided. The plates 4 and 5 inhibit flow of the paste P to the outside in the axial direction of the gravure roll 2 from the printing part A.
