To provide the grease composition that can achieve low torque and long life, and the rolling bearing that encapsulates the grease composition.SOLUTION: A grease composition 7 comprises a base oil and a thickener, and contains lithium soap and ethyl cellulose as thickener, wherein the thickener is contained in an amount of 1 to 10 mass% with respect to an entire grease composition.
