Abstract:
To provide a grease composition capable of achieving both lubrication properties and high abrasion resistance, and a lubricating method using the same.SOLUTION: A grease composition comprises: a base oil (A); a predetermined nanofiber (B); sodium polyphosphate (C); a metal-based cleaning agent (D); and one or more selected from a sarcosine derivative (E) and a phosphate amine salt (F). In the grease composition, the nanofiber (B) is one or more selected from a cellulose nanofiber (B1) and the like; a content of the sodium polyphosphate (C) falls within a predetermined amount; a content of a metal atom derived from the metal-based cleaning agent (D) falls within a predetermined amount; a content of a nitrogen atom derived from the sarcosine derivative (E) falls within a predetermined amount; and a content of a phosphorus atom derived from the phosphate amine salt (F) falls within a predetermined amount.SELECTED DRAWING: None
