PURPOSE: To provide the grease filter for a range hood improving the circulation of air through the filter, separating off the grease from the air and discharging the dried air into the external air.

CONSTITUTION: This filter is provided with a couple of riser sides 2 and 3 of one filter member A with the grease-mixed air inlet 6 directed upward and opposed to each other, a base plate 8a of other filter member A1 horizontally arranged having a 2mm clearance from the tips of the riser sides 2 and 3 and an air outlet 6a arranged in line with the inlet 6 of the member A and with the opening directed downward. Accordingly, the grease filter for a range hood consists of a riser side 2a bent almost at an angle of 90° to one end of the base plate 8a of the member A1 and a riser side 3a arranged outside the riser side 3 of the member A having a clearance 9a and extended to the other end of the base plate 8a of the member A1.
