Abstract:
To provide a welsh onion harvester which makes mud less likely to accumulate on a conveyor of a digging-up part and prevents the mud from adhering to harvested crops.SOLUTION: A welsh onion harvester comprises a harvester (A) on which a harvesting part 2 digging up welsh onions N from a ridge U to harvest them is installed on a travelling machine body 1. The harvesting part 2 includes: a dig-up part 20 digging up the welsh onions N; a conveying part 21 grasping the dug-up welsh onions N and conveying them to the back; and a ridge breaking part 60 installed in front of the dig-up part 20 and breaking the ridge U. A driving mechanism for transmitting driving force to the ridge breaking part 60 is disposed on the upper part of a dig-up conveyor 32 of the dig-up part 20 and is connected to the ridge breaking part 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
