Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stitching device and a stitching method capable of suppressing positional shifting of each tire component during crimping and wrinkles on a surface even while appropriately discharging air from a tire member laminate formed by stacking a plurality of tire components.SOLUTION: The stitching device 1 for pressing the surface of a tire member laminate 3 formed by bonding a plurality of tire components 2 wound on the peripheral part of a molding drum 4 to each other to crimp the plurality of tire components 2 includes a main pressing roller 13 moved in the axial direction of the molding drum 4 and pressed to the tire member laminate 3 at first pressure so as to crimp the plurality of tire components 2 to each other, a plurality of projected parts 23a in the peripheral part, and a preceding pressing roller 23 moved in the axial direction of the molding drum 4, and pressed to the tire member laminate 3 before the main pressing roller 13 at second pressure lower than the first pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
