To provide a lightweight greening system for covering wall surfaces enabling greening of artificial ground, easily managed, having resistance against high temperature and dryness in summer so as not to make plants stand dead to enable greening in any places such as slanted roofs or walls having difficulty in water retention and affusion.

The greening system is designed so as to cover a building, and comprises plowing porous ceramic granules each having a granular diameter of 0.3-50 mm into a fiber sheet or a spiral three-dimensional structure mat, and planting plants in the sheet or the mat.
