Abstract:
To provide a grinding device which enables three grinding stones of a rough grinding stone and finishing grinding stones to be replaced at the same time to thereby enable shortening of time during which the grinding device is stopped.SOLUTION: While replacing a second finishing grinding stone 340 attached to a mount 33 provided in finish-grinding means 3 provided in a grinding device, a workpiece 11 is roughly ground using a rough grinding stone attached to a disc mount provided in complex grinding means 5 and then the rough grinding stone is moved in a +Z-direction using a switching mechanism 6 to bring a first finishing grinding stone 520 into a state closer to a workpiece 11 than the rough grinding stone. Thereafter, the workpiece 11 is finish-ground using the first finishing grinding stone 520 attached to an annular mount 130 provided in the complex grinding means 5. This enables the workpiece 11 to be ground while replacing the second finishing grinding stone 340, so that grinding time can be shortened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
