Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase an elastic force and grinding force and to efficiently execute grinding without damaging a work by forming a grindstone layer of high hardness on the fiber surface and forming forced crack on this grindstone layer.

CONSTITUTION: A grindstone layer 4 using a high hardness resin bonding material is formed on the outer surface whole area of an elastic fiber 2 of a 'nylon'(R) fiber, etc. Numerous cracks 6 are forcibly formed on this grindstone layer 4 to restore the elasticity of this fiber 2 and the desired grinding fiber 1 displaying an excellent grinding force is obtd. as well.
