Abstract:
To grind a CBN tool at a high accuracy of form by holding a diamond harder than the CBN solidly, and reducing the abrasion of a grinding wheel.
In a grinding method of CBN tool to finish a material which consists of CBN into a tool with a desired form, the grinding is carried out by using a grinding wheel 1 formed by covering the surface with a diamond film 3 synthesized by a vapor phase growth.
