Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding tool, a grinding method and a machine tool capable of reducing clogging in a grindstone, and consequently, improving grinding efficiency.SOLUTION: A grinding tool comprises: a tool holder body 31 having a tool holder shaft 32 which is mounted on a main shaft 18 of a machine tool and a flange 33 which is integrally formed with the tool holder shaft 32 around the tool holder shaft 32; a plurality of grinding wheel spindles 35A, 35B which are rotatably arranged on the flange 33 in parallel with the tool holder shaft 32; a rotary drive mechanism 36 for rotating the respective grinding wheel spindles 35A, 35B; and grindstones 39A, 39B which are attached to the tips of respective wheel spindles 35A, 35B and grind the surface of a work-piece.
