Abstract:
To provide a grinding stone clogging detection device and the like, that can measure the clogging state of the grinding surface of a grinding stone in real time in a non-contact state with the grinding stone during processing.SOLUTION: It comprises a light projecting unit 2 that comprises a projection light source 2a and emits projection light 2f toward a predetermined position on a grinding surface 7a of a grinding stone being rotating during processing, a light receiving unit 3 that comprises a light receiving sensor 3a and is arranged at a position capable of receiving reflected lights 2g, 2h, 2i reflected from the grinding surface 7a of the grinding stone, and a discriminating circuit 4 for discriminating a clogging state of the grinding surface of the grinding stone based on reflection patterns 61 and 62 formed on the light receiving sensor with specular reflection component 2g and diffuse reflection components 2h and 2i that constitute the reflected light from the grinding surface 7a of the grinding stone 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
