To stably hold a grinding wheel even when grinding wheel peripheral speed becomes high speed by constituting a device to directly install the grinding wheel on a grinding wheel spindle after correcting dynamic unbalance in a state of integrally connecting at least more than two pieces of the grinding wheels to each other by making them adjacent to each other.
A grinding wheel layer 16 is fastened in an outer periphery of a grinding wheel core 15 on a grinding wheel 14. A grinding wheel layer 12 is fastened in an outer periphery of a grinding wheel core 11 even on a grinding wheel 10. The grinding wheel 10 and the grinding wheel 14 are arranged so that a left side surface of an interval adjusting part 13 and a right side surface of the grinding wheel 14 make contact with each other, and they are integrally connected to each other by a plural number of bolts 17 provided on the same circumference. Before installing these connected grinding wheels 10, 14 on a grinding wheel spindle 20, an unbalanced point is detected as an angle from a standard point and unbalance quantity by a balance measuring device, and dynamic balance is corrected by chipping a part of the grinding wheel cores 15, 11. Thereafter, an inner peripheral hole 18 is installed on a small diametrical part 22 of the grinding wheel spindle 20. At this time, it is installed at the same phase as at the time of dynamic balance correction.
