Title:
GRIP OF SKI POLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08243206
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the lower end flange part of a grip of a ski pole from oppressing the abductor of the little finger, the adductors of the long and short fingers, and the ulnar nerves so as to efficiently transmit the force from the hand to the grip by forming a spiral ridge line extending from the lower flange part having a maximum diameter of the grip.

CONSTITUTION: A ridge line 8 extending from a maximum diameter part forming the lower end flange part of a grip 1 of a ski pole, is spiral. Accordingly, when the grip is grasped, a line extending from the nail tip part 41 of the little finger to the side edge of the little finger of the hand, passing through the first and second joints 42, 43 of the little finger by way of the joint betweenn the finger and the palm is aligned with the ridge line 8 extending from the maximum diameter part of the lower end flange part of the grip. Accordingly, the lower end flange part 4 of the grip can prevent oppressing the hand so that the manipulatability of the ski pole can be prevented from lowering due to numbness of the hand, and no excessively firm grasping of the grip 1 is required. Further, it is possible to prevent a player from feeling a metal fear.
