Abstract:
To provide a new method for molding a grip by solving defects of conventional techniques.
The grip 22 for sporting implement is molded with two rubber materials of different durometer hardness by a compression molding process. A required twist resistance is provided to an under wristing 26. One comparatively hard rubber material is injection molded to compression-mold an outer rubber layer 28 into the under wristing. The outer layer 28 has a specific durometer hardness providing required tactile characteristics to the grip.
