Title:
GRIPPER SYSTEM FOR SHEET-FED PRINTING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009023349
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To improve the movement behavior of sheets in such a manner that the sheets can be guided through a drying and/or chalking station in the state of stabilizing the sheets while the sheets clamped by the gripper system are conveyed along a region extending in a straight line form longer than the other of a gripper track.

The system is provided with a plurality of actuation means capable of imparting the vertical deviation defined from one sideways straight line passing through the terminal points on both right and left sides of the lateral sides of the sheets to the regions of the lateral sides of the sheets gripped by the gripper system. Thereby advantageously, the forcible curling of the sheets is made possible in at least the prescribed sections of the sheet guide track through which the sheets pass. The gripper system of the sheet-fed printing machine configured in such a manner that stiffness is given to the sheets by the curling is obtained.
