Abstract:
To machine a work into a hollow shape having a groove on an inner peripheral part, in a short time with high quality.
A machining device is provided with a work fixing part movable in two axial directions orthogonal within a horizontal plane, holding the work and rotating the work around a rotation axis parallel with one of two axes. The machining device is used to carry out a process for holding the work to the work fixing part and machining inner and outer peripheral surfaces of hollow shapes to machine the work into a hollow shape using the rotation axis as the axis, and a process for machining a groove on the inner peripheral surface of hollow shape while leaving the work held to the work fixing part.
