Abstract:
To provide an underground radar for a shield machine that can more reliably detect an obstacle (for example, H-steel) expanding in various directions on a front surface in front of a shield machine travel direction even when an antenna of an underground radar device attached to an arm rotates in a circumferential direction around a rotational center axis of a rotary cutter in accordance with the circumferential rotation of the arm of the rotary cutter of the shield machine around the rotational center axis.SOLUTION: A underground radar for a shield machine is configured such that an underground radar antenna is arranged on arms 1 to 8 of a rotary cutter radially extending from a rotational center axis on the front of the shield machine, where at least one of the plurality of arms 1 to 8 is provided with the plurality of antennas 10 to 13 in the direction in which the arm extends.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
