Abstract:
To provide an exploration device and an exploration method for ground samples that can suppress the disturbance of a core.SOLUTION: A ground sample exploration device 1A comprises a penetration device 20 for penetrating a core tube 200 into the ground G, an excavator 30 that excavates an annular hole H for exploration of the ground by digging in a ring shape around the intrusive core tube of the ground in the intrusive direction of the core tube, and an exploration unit 40 that is placed inside the excavated annular hole for exploration and is capable of exploring the ground sample inside the core tube.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
